hey y'all
Here we are almost half way through July. Miss A has been 2 months for just over a week in a bit. Last week we took her to the doctor for her 2 month apt. She is now 11lbs 5.5oz. She is also 22 inches in length. She had her first needles and oral vac done. She is eating really well now lasting anywhere from 2-4 hrs in between..and sleeping mostly through the night..lately her last bottle is around 10:30/11 and she makes it until 5-6am. She is drinking around 3-4oz at a time.
A is now smiling here and there, cooing and grunting in response. She is very alert...starting to reach and play in the floor toy we have set up inside the play yard for her safety. Toys still get thrown in when K gets the chance...such a big helper for his "aba" as he calls her. She responds well to her siblings all over her. Most of the time they are very loving and gentle unless not paying attention to their surroundings or if K decides he is jealous..he uses a lot of words but still hits when he does not have the words.
She really loves to stick her tongue out and make faces. Her cheeks are getting all big and adorable. Her head strength is amazing but she has been really strong with it since a week old. When we do tummy time she kind of tummy swims in the floor toy. Lately she has had a lot of awake time just looking around.
It's amazing how fast each baby grows quicker than the last.
sir K is trouble...a little tiny toddler terrorist..causing ruckus where it is to be had. He loves to make messes, getting into everything he can. He is our biter..sometimes due to teeth and other times due to frustration, jealousy and when he is mad. His siblings must have marks all over I know my DJ and I do. He is also our clown..his laughter makes up for the harder days. He loves his baby sister even though he is jealous. He is so smart to figure things out. Apparently my vents are great storage compartments and life is a great big game of find missing things..like daddy's switchable razor. You know the piece you put all the attachments on with the power...ya K hid that piece really well. He is already 18months old!
O just turned 3. He said he is retiring and done growing haha. He is a sweet boy. He is talking so well for his age. I fear by the way he eats now when he is older we will be running out of groceries constantly. There is more fighting since E has been off school. We will be starting potty training in the fall since he is beginning to start to be ready but not quite. We had a pj masks birthday for him with family. He loves to dress up and pretend he is saving everyone. Him and k play well together with the Normal rough house between brothers. We have hit the age of night terrors and monster fears. Makes for some long nights. He loves to play out side and is really needing to work on listening lately.
Miss E did her very first dance camp right after school. She did amazing. She is missing school and her friends. The lack of routine causes lack of listening skills. She loves to do things but is also busy. Her imagination is always working. We are working on being ready for sk. Hard to believe she will be one. she has come out of her she'll in a huge way..which also makes grocery trips interesting since she is telling everyone she sees her name. Always kissing her siblings and is stretching like a bean pole. It will be fun to watch her in dance in the fall, she is really into acro.
We are busy. I am pumping and bottle feeding, my DH works Long hours..but we truck through as a team. Right now I am even attempting a mommy fit challenge. This is it tho..no more babies...no more firsts after A . Part of me is sad but I feel we are a great family. He is getting referred to get the big V. We shall see how long the Wait is.
