Here we are smack dab in the middle of September!!
School has started for year two of kindergarten...how did we get to have a kid in her second year of school already! Sir K is 20 months old today woot woot!!!! O is soon going to start potty training...Miss E also started dance classes tonight...EXCITING RIGHT!!!! Oh and did I forget to mention A is ROLLING!!!!!
Miss A is now 4 months and week roughly...crack-a-lackin soon we will be talking about how it is almost christmas and she will be 6months old...time sure is flying...especially when you have 4 kids 4 and under running the house..I mean around you..hahahhaha..(sips wine).
Any who....A is such a joy honestly..she is a super great baby..mind you lately we always find the older two more of a handle. Babies are much easier minus the teething. Yesterday we went to the doctors and she now weighs a whopping 13lb 15oz..one more Oz and this gal is 14lbs...should not take too long at all! She is growing constantly and is 24in in height!! You would not be able to tell she is still loving the curling into a ball phase...unless playing on the floor..then we stretch right out and roll back and 4th. She does 360 on the floor in her activity floor toy. Especially if one of the kids catch her attention or she wants to watch tv. We start our kids on cartoons really young. To be honest my house would be a total write off if it was not for cartoons and movies on netflix..O loves netflix!!!!!
We are smiling and talking up a storm...her chest sounded great at the doctors and she did not seem to be concerned whatsoever. We all agreed it sounds like it is linked to her having some allergy reactions and sounds worse due to age. We had recently bought the k-9 allergy and it clears it up. Usually worse when my husband cuts the grass or if we are outside for longer periods of time with her.
A is also holding a lot of things in her hands. Grasping toys and cuddles blankets. She is teething like mad and sucking on her hands loudly. Sometimes so hard that if she does not have her soother her fingers do the job. I have been sleeping her in the bassinet more in the day since she seems to go down easier. She loves to get kissed from all her siblings and will even carry on a convo with them in baby babble. she is well loved and looked after in our house. just today K shared his truck with her while in the playpen and O helped her stay warm with a extra blanket in the swing. Never a dull moment. We take her back at 6 months to see how she is doing again.
Miss E:
Miss E just started Sk and is a super big helper in the classroom. She is using the bathroom like a big girl for the most part. We have her wipe first in the bathroom with us and then we check for her. She started Creative Dance/ballet tonight . She was super excited and did not want to leave. She was a little upset starting on the bus again since her bus driver seems to be switched from the lovable one they had to a new one who either does not like kids or hates his job..does not even say HI to the kids in the morning. Also the bus monitor who she sat with before either has not started or is not on this route either...her bus safety and comfort had dropped. Its hard being 4! Attitude is on high lately..along with thinking she can do what she wants..oh the joys of 3 and 4..thinking they can run the world..later in life I will be proud of her being so independent and forward thinking..now not so much. Her drawing is improving drastically. We were in to her school yesterday and she drew all of our family members in great detail, she even included the dog.
Captain O:
3's oh how I LOVE the Threenager! This adorable little package of energy who wants to make their own choices and will not listen to you or reason. Dropping it like its hot not wanting to go places for you or do things when it suits anyone but him.....Just think we have two more times of Threenagers. I love that his sister is back in school simply for he is a night and day different kid when he has alone time with his mama. The boys horse around together but fight way less...they usually play together quite well and I can manage to get some things done. He is super busy, messy and insanely smart. Repeats words and songs to me all the time. Today I had to answer him all day as Theodor off of Alvin and the Chipmunks. He was Simon and K was Alvin...in fact he would not answer me at lunch unless I told Simon to drink his milk...fun times. He is at a stage where we are into everything..especially when he thinks he is helping. Like he decided it would be a good idea while in pj's to cover himself...his pj's the floor and part of the tv unit in sunscreen..so much that he could not move without falling! Funny now...not so much when we found him. Soon we start potty training him..I am sure there will be stories to tell.
Sir K:
K is my clown....always into soaps, shampoos, climbing like a mountain goat..getting stuck in house obstacles. Right now he is in the dumping stage. He is always trying to figure out how things work or what he can get a way with. He is trouble with a Capital T. He will race for bum changes and kisses his sister a million times a day. A roller coaster of emotions. K is always getting Teeth in..if he is not hitting his head from falling over himself off of things he is wrestling causing trouble with his siblings. He is also our biter...his siblings have the marks to prove it. He is constantly laughing and smiling over silly things and will take a cuddle any time he can get. He is super smart at the age of 20 months old..singing his abc's in our bedtime routine along his sister and brother. He is always helping put diapers in the garbage or doing puzzles. The sentences and words he says are well put together. He also stands there like a parrot mother hen and yells at his sister and brother. Its quite funny to see. I swear the floor wears more than he eats. He is a messy grazer. Next week we take K for a heart ultrasound to make sure he does not have a murmur. He was sick last time we had him at the doctor...so it could have been fluid there. Just a check.
My DH finally got his referral from Belleville for the big Snip...in November...so here we go down the road of not having any more babies. The first appointment is probably just a talk. I am sad there will not be any more firsts..I love the stage A is in and will miss it deeply. We love our family and babies and kids..but now is the time for us to move on to the next stage of our family. Watching them grow and learn...and reconnecting our relationship..stronger than ever as a team and loving family.
