Evie turned 4 months on April 25th. Which also happened to be my husband Doug's 31st birthday. I would have update that day..but however we were in the car on the way home from a trip we took to Montreal. After we were done that week of holidays business..Doug had flew out to Texas for a training course. My mom and soon to be sister in law Jen came to visit for the week with my nephews Zach and Cam. So I will for sure have some pics to post.
Evie is doing very well...she is probably about 14lbs now..the doctors scale said just under 13 when we were there..I find it is hard to get an accurate reading with her there anymore..as she is squiggly. We are a couple of inches taller..standing up when supported..and sitting when supported..we can now prop her up on the couch and take pictures lol. We were told she is only in the 20% for height and weight...we however think she is doing just fine.. The doctor said it could just be the way she is small for who she is. I hate statistics for charts..it is probably now based on formula babies..not breastfed or babies that were smaller in weight when they were born. I figure doubling your birth weight in less than 4 months is good enough..but hey I am the mom. Her hair is growing in great..and still has blue eyes like her mama.
We are now wearing 3-6 clothes and some 6 month sleepers based on the weight and company. We are not so wee anymore. They honestly grow up so fast..faster than you think. We are giggling and talking up a storm..feeding her is getting interesting due to we are noticing everything around us and getting very distracted. We hate our car seat..but love to go for walks in the bigger part of the stroller. Teething is a on-going thing in our house. We love our hands so much that Evie will put them so far in her mouth she gags herself..or pulls our fingers into her mouth to chew on.
Our last app was not so fun..we had more needles and oral vac. The oral stuff was just as hard on her as the last time she got it. Messed up her going to the bathroom and eating and all together just upset. It was nice once the oral stuff had finally left her system...Doug was lucky enough to come home to not have to see too much of that.
We had a nice long visit with Yaya and our aunt and nephews when Doug was in Texas..here are some photo's updated from our visit. We are growing so fast..sometimes it soo much new info to update. Our nephews and Evie are a month apart to the day and it is neat to see how she is ahead in some ways and there are in others. Enjoy the pics and I will update you all again shortly..xo Cassie

she's gorgeous and 20% is in their scale so don't let anyone try and convince you she should be bigger! we had the same thing with our little girl here in England, she was 9% and they recommended chocolate and formula to fatten her up - i ask you! x
