Posting a little bit later than I had planned on..We all have this nasty cold that is going around. Miss E has been hit with it especially hard. She could hardly breathe, bad cough, all congested and coughing horribly. Had to go and buy a vicks humidifer for her room and some cold meds ect.
11 months have come and are going fast. Faster than I have expected..we have lots of new news to tell you. Evie is all over the house and into everything...from standing and reaching things we shouldn't to rolling balls back and forth with the dog or us. We have hands like suction cups and magnifying eyes. Nothing is safe or clean enough in the house anymore..despite how clean you thought it looked before.
Doug had the pleasure of showing Evie she can pull her self up on the coffee table..nothing is safe on there now...unless it was already hers in the first place. We are up and down all the time..and braver by the second. We are even starting to take little steps and going to you if right near the table..falling into your arms. We walk sometimes with one of our walkers. The table is a great aid in letting her walk across part of the room sideways before gently sitting herself back down hanging onto things on the way down making sure not to land hard on her poor little bum. We have had to buy some smelly 40% bum cream due to diaper rash from teething...did I mention teeth are not very nice at all.
We will wave now....only when we feel like it. Clapping is something new we started this week. Sorry let me put it this way..we have always tried to clap...but now we are truly clapping with sound and flat hands. Our love of music grows more and more each day...which I am very happy about. Doug is simply amazed by her love of it. Does not matter what type..if she hears it she stops and claps and dances...whether she is crawling, standing, sitting, eating ect. In the morning we like to get up and sing.
Walking is probably going to full on before her first birthday. We are eating mashed food..well were until this cold..we are having trouble eating right now since we can only breathe through our mouth.
One of the new things we do is give people serious stare down looks..where she creases her eyebrows and glares her eyes. Sometimes instead of saying something to her doug and myself just give her a look..now she does it to strangers when we are out..or back at us when she knows she is doing something wrong and we are trying to tell her to stop. It is quite a funny site to see.
On other news I am excited to announce last weekend I gave my two weeks notice that on the 8th of December when my Mat leave is done..I will not be returning back to work. We have decided that I am going to stay home and look after our family..and continue on the path to more little miracles.
We go back to see the specialist on Jan 3rd. Right now I had to do more blood work and an internal exam the next time I go to see the doctor just to see what has been going on down there. I have not had one in a while. I am just building up the metformin back in my system at the time. When we went to see the specialist the app was surprisingly not a long wait or long app. He was really glad to see Mrs. E. We are skipping the clomide thank goodness..and going straight to the Femara which is the fertility drug that worked with the 3rd IUI the first time I switched to it..that is the drug we got pregnant with Evie. We are not sure whether we are just going to be put on it alone..or going straight to the IUI's . Either way..we are super excited...Evie will be already one and we love our family so much.
I will be sure to post some photos soon. We had recently got some family photos taken by a family photographer two weeks ago and we get the link soon to check it out. I am very excited..it is the first time we have had it done professionally since Doug and I got married.
Much love..
